Account Management
How do I Sign In?
Click on the 'Sign In' link in the top right corner of the browser. Enter your email address and password to log in. If you forgot your password, click on 'Forgot Password' in the log in area.
How do I reset my password?
Once you have logged in and are on your dashboard, click on 'Change Password' on the left of the webpage. Enter your current password, and enter/confirm your new password. Click 'Save'. You will use this new password for future log ins.
How can I change my email address?
Once you have signed on and are on your dashboard, click on 'Change Email' on the left of the webpage. Enter your new email and click 'Save'. You will use this new email address for future log ins.
How can I retrieve my password?
There is a link on all sign-in forms to help you recover your password. Choose 'Sign In' in the top right corner of the website, click the 'Forgot Password' button, enter your email and click on 'Rest Password'. You will receive an email with further instructions to reset your password.
How can I cancel or delete my account?

Getting Started
Is internet access required?
Yes, an internet connection is required to log in and view your online course. All courses offer a range of multimedia features, and we recommend that you have a good broadband or network connection for the optimal experience.
What are the system requirements to access courses?
Web Browsers
We support the current and the previous major release of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft browsers. This currently includes Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer. Each time a new browser version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third most recent version.

From what devices can I access courses?
Tamarind Learning courses are accessible on PC screens, tablets, and mobile devices.
How do I navigate from inside the course?
There are two forms of navigation in each course:
Every course has a menu bar situated to the top right of the page. Click on 'Lessons' to open the course outline where you can click on any completed lesson or the next lesson. On the lesson page, you can click on the 'Next' button to move forward or the 'Back' button to move backwards. These buttons appear on the top and bottom of the page. At the very bottom right of the page is an up arrow that will take you back to the top of the page.
Click on the 'Home' button to take you to the course overview page. From here, you can click on the 'Dashboard' button to take you back to the dashboard.
How do I turn on the voice recording of the text on the page?
The widget to turn on the voice to read the text floats at the bottom of the page. To start, click on the arrow button. To pause, click on the pause button.
Who created the content?
The content was developed by respected industry thought leaders from each discipline.
What differentiates These courses from other wealth education programs?
Other programs do not have interactive features, robust content, the ability to have groups take a program together, practical based learning utilizing case studies, and built-in tools to have advisors provide mentoring to learners.
How is the content kept current?
We will update the content when there are changes to the tax code and law that impacts the content. We also work with industry leading thought experts who provide us with current content as it becomes available. Our goal is to maintain the content to ensure it is relevant.
How do I access my course after logging in?
Once you are at your dashboard, you will see a list of courses you have access to. You can start a new course or resume a course you have already started.
How soon will I have access to my courses?
You can begin taking the courses as soon as you complete the purchase process.
Course Taking
How many courses can I take at one time?
There is no limit to the number of courses that can be taken at any given time. The only restriction is that the courses are taken in order and follow the prerequisites.
How long does it take to complete a program?
Each course will take a different amount of time to complete based on your prior knowledge of the subject matter. On average, the ABS program will take about 45 hours to complete. The Stewardship in Action program will take about 14 hours to complete. The Estate Planning, Trusts, and Tax program will take about 18 hours to complete. The Financial Planning, Administration, and Investing program will take about 13 hours to complete.
How do I complete homework?
Follow the instructions for the homework assignment. When ready to answer the question, add the text directly into the Homework widget, and when completed, click 'Submit'. If you need to make changes, you can do so at any time but please make sure to save the changes by clicking 'Submit'.
You may also upload documents by clicking on 'File Manager' in the Homework header bar.
How do I use Notes?
Your notebook is accessed in two ways. The first is by clicking on 'Notebook' on your Dashboard. The second is clicking on 'Notes' at the top right of each course. The Notebook is a very powerful tool that will allow you to share your thoughts and answers with others, export the note, add attachments, and add tags to organize the note.
How are the courses graded?
The quiz at the end of each course requires a passing grade of 80% or higher to move on. You may take the quizzes more than once.
How do I provide feedback to Tamarind Learning on the courses I’ve taken? How do I communicate with instructors?
Every course provides a quick link to contact an instructor on the course overview page. After completing a course and a program, you will be given the opportunity to provide feedback and rate the course or program.
What course materials can be downloaded?
There are documents that are downloadable either by clicking on the hyperlink or the download button on the top right of the embedded PDF viewer. Note that not all the documents are downloadable. Your Notes are all downloadable by clicking on the export button within the Notes widget.
If a course is marked completed do I lose access to it?
No, as long as your account is active, you will have access to all the courses you have completed. You are able to view the course on your dashboard.
Privacy and Security
Is my participation in courses private?
Absolutely! You decide if you want to share your information. We will never disclose your information with other learners or any third-parties without your expressed permission.
Is the website safe, secure, and confidential?
Yes! The website is hosted on secure servers, backed up, and has redundancy protocols in place. The servers utilize actively managed security features to ensure the data is protected.
How long is information stored?
Your information and data will be stored up to 2 years after the end of your access to unless otherwise instructed.
Is my information, family, or cohort information private?
Yes! Groups and families are created separate and share the information only within the group or family members.
How is my email address used?
Your e-mail address is your user ID to access the site and is used as a unique identifier. We will use your email to communicate with you as needed.
Who owns the data about myself and my family (actions, answers, personal information, notes)?
You own your information. We do not own your information and cannot use your information in any way without your prior approval.

We recommend when having problems with audio to check your internet connection, reset your internet connection if necessary, clear your cache, and update your browser or try another browser. Additionally, check your speaker/headphone connection and your audio system preferences.

I am using a mobile device. Will this affect my experience?
Yes, using a device with a smaller screen will affect your overall experience. We recommend using a device with a larger screen to maximize your learning experience.
